CrossFit is a strength & conditioning program that combines cardio, weightlifting, & gymnastics. CrossFit is intended to be functional so the movements you learn and master can be used outside the gym, too. At Blackbeard, all workouts can be modified for any ability. We offer a different workout every day and review and assist with every movement used in each workout. Our classes are an hour-long. We provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to help you reach your goals: whether that’s to lose weight, find the time to workout twice a week, excel in boot camp, or compete in the CrossFit Games.

Options For Getting Started:
  1. Call to speak with a coach regarding health/fitness/sports history, goals, and any limitations you may have.
  2. Join us for a class. Yes, come to a class! You will survive. Our community and coaches are committed to ensuring all guests have an enjoyable experience and feel welcomed.
What does a CrossFit class at Blackbeard look like?
  1. Your coach will review the Workout of the Day (every day is different) before class.
  2. The class will warm up together.
  3. Your coach will review every single movement in the day’s workout with you. Whether you’re new or have experience, practice makes perfect!
  4. Workout!
  5. Cool down.
What if I still need more coaching outside of class?
  1. no worries! Once per month after the 9am Saturday class, we will host a foundations class for anyone (recommended for anyone in first 6-months) to attend. This is a part of your membership. Please keep an eye on the schedule and social media for announcements pertaining to this class
  2. If you still need more attention, personal training packages can be purchased from any of our highly qualified coaches.
